Is professional oven cleaning safe for my family and pets?
Yes. We only use non-caustic, biodegradeable cleaning products that are safe to use around children, pets and households. Despite being a more gentle solution, it is still very effective in removing built up grease and carbon without the heavy chemical smells.
How much does professional oven cleaning cost?
Professional oven cleaning costs between $195 to $230 for most standard sized household ovens. We only charge based off size of oven, not the condition or time it takes to clean it. Prices vary based on larger or industrial/commercial ovens. This price includes thorough on-site cleaning with our non-caustic products and re-assembly of the oven.
What is the oven cleaning process?
We start with careful inspection and take before photos. We remove the oven door and split the layers of glass, the trays racks and panels are then removed. The items soak in our non caustic hot solution in our van while we apply our products to the oven and manually scrub the grease and grime. Once cleaned, the oven is re-assembled and a protectant is applied. After a 15 minute burn-off the oven is ready to be used.
How long does a typical oven clean take?
For most residential homes in Brisbane it takes an average of 1.5 – 2 hours for an oven clean. Depending on size, condition and if there is any other appliances that need cleaning on the day, the timeframe can increase.
Can you remove burnt on grease and carbon buildup?
Absolutely. Stubborn grease and carbon buildup are our specialty. DIY methods often fail to remove these entirely, however our methods and products can get your appliances looking spotless.
How often should my oven be cleaned?
We recommend getting a professional oven clean every 6-12 months. If you notice odours, smoke or reduced oven performance you are most likely due for an oven clean.
Do you clean other appliances?
Yes. In addition to ovens we also clean cooktops, rangehoods, BBQs, and microwaves using the same non-caustic solutions. Please note that each appliance is priced individually.
Do you service Brisbane area?
Yes. Our area of service is Brisbane and Moreton bay Regions. If you are unsure please contact us via the Enquiry page with your postcode.
How soon can I use my oven after cleaning?
Ovens can be used immediately after the 15 minute burn-off. (180 degrees for 15 minutes) This ensures any moisture can evaporate and the protectant can cure.
Why should I choose professional cleaning instead of DIY?
Professional oven cleaning is in depth and thorough. The oven is disassembled to clean and the door is removed and split to get any dust or runs out from in-between the glass. We do not use harsh caustic chemicals that are terrible for your health and you do not need to waste hours of your personal time to scrub an oven. We guarantee effective results and can also identify any issues that your oven may have.
Can you repair ovens?
Some ovens need repair or replacement items due to age and wear. We can source and install new hinges, bulbs, rubber seals, fans and can also split and reseal glued glass doors. We can identify most issues, however a qualified electrician is needed to replace oven elements, fan motors, and control boards.
Will the glass scratch when cleaning?
No. None of our methods will put scratches in the glass. Any scratches that are visible after we have cleaned is from attempted DIY cleans by owners or other companies using improper cleaning techniques.
